Rep. Paul Ryan from Wisconsin sent out a mocking tweet to New Jersey’s Chris Christie after the governor’s much-loved team, the Dallas Cowboys, lost to the Green Bay Packers.

Mr. Ryan took a photo with his children Charles, Liza and Samuel in their seats at Lambeau Field and put it on Twitter with a message that included Mr. Christie’s Twitter handle: “Do you need a hug now?”

Mr. Ryan’s jab comes amid criticisms from New Jersey constituents that questioned why their governor was captured on video in enthusiastic hugs with the Dallas NFL owner when the Cowboys won against the Detroit Lions, Politico reported.

Mr. Christie has taken a lot of heat for not only his rabid support of the Cowboys, but also for his out-of-state attendance at the team’s games — and his relationship with owner Jerry Jones, who reportedly paid for Mr. Christie’s trip to Texas.
