Secretary of State John Kerry’s convoy was involved in a car accident en route to the airport in India, but he wasn’t hurt, various media reported.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said the collision of the two vehicles occurred as the convoy was traveling to the airport in Ahmedabad, The Associated Press reported.

Mr. Kerry’s car was one of the vehicles involved, but he was not injured and did not even step into the street, the Daily Mail said.

“During the drive to the airport in Ahmedabad, India, two cars in the motorcade had a minor traffic accident resulting in some damage to both cars,” Ms. Psaki said, the Daily Mail said. “One vehicle was switched out, and the motorcade proceeded to the airport without further incident.”

The damaged vehicle was left on the side of the road.
