Washington Wizards point guard John Wall continues to lead Eastern Conference backcourt players in NBA All-Star balloting. The second round of voting results show Wall with 439,395 votes, well ahead of Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade, who has 396,757 votes.
Wall played in his first All-Star game last season. In his fifth season with the Wizards, Wall is averaging 17.4 points, 10.3 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game. Entering Thursday, Wall was tied for the league lead in assists with Denver’s Ty Lawson. He was also tied for second in steals. His field-goal percentage of 45.8 is a career high.
