Russia has reportedly ramped up combat patrol missions for its ballistic missiles.
Ballistic missiles, including launchers, will conduct patrols in six regions across the nation, a European news website reported.
“The Topol, Topol-M and Yars mobile launchers are drilling combat duty tasks in six regions of the country with extended combat patrolling time,” Russian Defense Ministry spokesman for Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) Col. Igor Yegorov said Wednesday, the website reported.
The Russian official added that winter combat patrolling will be lengthened by one month.
“This means that each missile regiment will spend on combat patrolling routes about 60 days per year,” Mr. Yegorov said, the website reported.
