FALL RIVER, Mass. — Testimony has resumed in the murder trial of former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez after a brief pause for a juror’s note to the judge.

Bristol County Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh began Thursday’s session by calling the lawyers to the front of the courtroom to discuss the note.

The juror was brought in and individually questioned by the judge, then left the courtroom. Afterward, the panel entered the courtroom along with the questioned juror, and testimony resumed.

The questioning of the juror came two days after the judge removed a different juror, saying there was evidence she had previously discussed evidence in the case and had an early interest in being seated on the panel.

Hernandez is accused of the 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, a semipro football player who was dating the sister of Hernandez’s fiancee.
