A Boston-area man said he was shoveling snow with his wife when he stumbled on this business brainstorm: Hey, why not box this up and ship it around the nation for a profit?

So Kyle Waring, of Manchester-by-the-Sea, started ShipSnowYo.com, a business that bottles snow and sends it to interested buyers around the country, United Press International reported.

“At this rate, it’s going to be July until the snow melts,” he told Boston.com. “But I’ve thought about taking this idea and running with it for other seasonal items. Maybe I’ll ship some fall foliage.

Each 16.9 ounce bottle goes for $19.99 and mails to almost anywhere in the United States — except to the Northeast.

He also sells a 6-pound package for $89, and has plans in works for a 10-pound box that will sell at $119, UPI reported.

Still, let the buyer beware. The purchase comes with no guarantee the snow will arrive as snow, and not water.
