President Obama will host Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, at the White House on March 19.
The president will meet with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall in the Oval Office, the White House said Friday.
The royal couple will also be visiting the Armed Forces Retirement Home in the District, will tour Mount Vernon and also make a stop at the National Archives to view the Magna Carta on its 800th anniversary.
“The prince and the duchess will visit the United States March 17-20 to engage in activities to promote the United Kingdom’s partnership with the United States in such key areas as combatting climate change, creating opportunities for youth, encouraging corporate social responsibility, and preserving historical and cultural links,” said White House press secretary Josh Earnest.
