Pop-star Katy Perry’s Super Bowl performance wrapped with a few laughs at her backup singing shark’s expense, with a video that’s gone viral that shows the costumed character completely messing up the choreography.

The sharks were part of Ms. Kerry’s background stage performance of two of her songs — but their stilted moves and somewhat flailing dance movements quickly became the main attraction, the Daily Mail reported. One missed some steps, and social media was quick to point to the errors,

“The left side dancing shark that could get the dance moves right won the night,” one tweet read, the Daily Mail reported.

And another: “Everyone’s all upset over the game and I’m still laughing over the left shark who didn’t know his dance moves.”

SBNation, a sports network, meanwhile posted on Twitter: “Shout-out to the Left Shark for just making up his choreography on the spot.”
