Jane Fonda, the Hollywood actress Vietnam veterans love to hate for her perceived propaganda reach-out to the North Vietnamese, made a confession to Du Jour magazine: I still smoke pot.

“I’ll smoke pot every now and then,” the 77-year-old said, the New York Post reported.

She clarified that she can’t see a movie stoned, but that she’ll toke up now and again in other settings.

“I cannot see a movie on pot,” Ms. Fonda said, the reported. “The number of movies I’ve seen thinking, ’This is probably the best I have ever seen,’ and then I’ll see it again and think, ’What was I thinking?’”

In 1972, Ms. Fonda angered the military community by posting atop a tank with the Vietnamese military, earning her the derisive nickname “Hanoi Jane.” She recently apologized for the photographs, admitting at an event in Maryland in January that she made a “huge, huge mistake.”
