FRANK GAFFNEY: Spare us anymore of Obama’s successes

This week, Iranian proxies completed their take-over of the capital of one of the world’s most strategically placed countries: Yemen. Our embassy there had to close and its Marines had to destroy their weapons.

So much for what President Obama called his “successful Yemen model” for defeating the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Next week, we’re told he’ll crow about the domestic equivalent of his successful Yemen model: the Muslim outreach programs supposed to counter “violent extremism” in Boston, Minnesota’s Twin Cities and Los Angeles.

But freedom-fighter Charles Jacobs documented that the Muslim Brotherhood groups Team Obama has “engaged” in Boston have ties to at least a dozen known jihadists. Its outreach partners in Minnesota and LA are equally problematic.

We can’t afford any more of President Obama’s “successes.”
