A new political group affiliated with Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker has set up shop in Iowa as organizational efforts in the early presidential state start grinding into gear.

The Des Moines Register reported that Our American Revival has leased space in Urbandale that’s been occupied in the past by campaigns for Gov. Terry Branstad, former Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

Our American Revival told the paper that for now the office is meant “to engage with the citizens of Iowa” and the group is not about a White House campaign, but Mr. Walker has already risen to the top of recent polling on the GOP field in the state home to the first-in-the-nation caucuses and has said he’s weighing a presidential run.

Mr. Walker is overseas this week on an economic development trip to the U.K., but he is scheduled to return to the state next month for the Iowa Agriculture Summit.
