Fresh off a trip to Iowa last weekend, Sen. Rand Paul, Kentucky Republican, is encroaching onto the turf of two potential 2016 GOP presidential rivals later this week and will attend two local Republican events in Florida.

Mr. Paul is scheduled to attend the Orange County Lincoln Day Dinner in Orlando Friday and a Republican Party of Sarasota rally Saturday, his political action committee said Tuesday.

Like Mr. Paul, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and GOP Sen. Marco Rubio are also weighing 2016 runs for the White House.
