Bruce Jenner, a former Olympic great who turned into a reality show star, reportedly confirmed to hospital workers helping after his weekend car crash that he was indeed taking hormones to enlarge his breasts and look more like a woman.
A source told Radar Online that he admitted to medical workers that “he was taking a very low dosage of hormones that his doctor prescribed. [But] there is no suggestion that the hormones were a contributing factor in the tragic accident.”
Mr. Jenner was involved in an accident in Malibu on Saturday that left a 69-year-old millionaire widow dead. He passed a field sobriety test at the scene of the accident and then agreed to take a blood test at a nearby hospital, Radar Online reported.
While officials were drawing his blood, they asked if he was taking any medication, the news outlet said.
“[He said] he was taking very low dosage of hormones that his doctor had prescribed,” the source told Radar Online. “Bruce has nothing to hid and was very cooperative with cops and appreciated their professionalism.”
The source also said Mr. Jenner wanted to take the hormones so he could grow breasts and appear more feminine before undergoing gender reassignment surgery, Radar Online reported.
