The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward in its investigation of the stabbing death of a man Sunday in Northwest.

Officers in the 4th Police District responded to a call of a man down about 5:20 p.m. Sunday in the 4100 block of Eighth Street NW. They found a male victim unconscious and suffering from stab wounds.

D.C. Fire and Emergency Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to a hospital, where he died.

Police have not identified the victim, and the case remains under investigation.

The department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
