Another public school system has decided to close all schools for a day in response to threats of violence — this time, in Nashua, New Hampshire.

Superintendent Mark Conrad said schools will be closed Monday, in response to a threat specific to that day, and expect to re-open Tuesday.

“We have received a detailed threat of violence to harm students and staff at both high schools,” Mark Conrad said in a statement posted Sunday to the school system website. “The threat is specific to tomorrow. We have been working closely with the Nashua Police Department, which is still working at this time to determine the credibility of the threat.”

The private St. Christopher School and Nashua Catholic Junior High School also will close Monday, according to TV station WMUR, an ABC affiliate,

Several schools and/or systems — most prominently the entire Los Angeles Unified School District — have closed in response to threats of violence in the days since Islamist terror attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, California.
