Banning people who threaten our lives is exactly what we used to do and what we should be doing now. The 1924 Immigration Act was put in place for two reasons. First, it limited the influx of immigrants from Western Europe into America by setting quotas for people from each county. This was done stop the trend of immigrants taking jobs from citizens and raising the unemployment rate. Second, the act totally restricted immigration from Eastern European countries that were exporting terrorists (in this case, anarchists) to our country. The measure was even revived in the late 1960s, when the Democrats, led by Sen. Ted Kennedy, figured out they needed more welfare voters in order to gain power.

Both of the reasons for the 1924 measure are as valid today as they were 90 years ago. Save American jobs for Americans — and save American lives. Donald Trump is 100-percent right: Stop all immigration from countries that export terrorism to the United States. Stop the immigration madness and political correctness. Your jobs — and more importantly, your lives — are at stake.
