NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country stars Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will return to host the Country Music Association Awards on ABC this fall for an eighth straight year.
The 49th annual awards show will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, on Nov. 4.
Paisley, who is currently out on his Crushin’ It World Tour, has won 14 CMA awards in his career, which makes him No. 5 on the list of top CMA winners of all time. Underwood, who put out a greatest hits album last year celebrating her first decade as an artist, has seven Grammy Awards and five CMA awards.
The final nominees in each of the 12 categories will be announced on Wednesday, Sept. 9.
