A climate activist holding a “Walker 4 President” sign tricked Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker into posing for a photo Monday, just before flipping the sign to reveal a fake $900 million check from the Koch brothers.

The Republican presidential candidate was reportedly in the midst of a meet-and-greet with potential voters in New Hampshire.

“I’d like to present you with this check from the Koch brothers for climate denial,” Tyler McFarland, 23, told Mr. Walker, The Guardian reported.

The governor reportedly brushed off the encounter and continued on mingling with supporters.

Earlier this year, the Koch brothers vowed to spend approximating $900 million of their own money to influence the outcome of the 2016 election, Mediaite reported.

“We presented Scott Walker with a $900 million novelty check from the Koch brothers today, because Scott Walker is the most dangerous candidate on climate change,” Mr. McFarland later told the Guardian. “As Obama reveals his clean power plant today, we just wanted to highlight the fact that Scott Walker is poised to receive $900 million from the Kochs, particularly to continue climate denial and implement disastrous environmental policies.”
