After reporting earlier in the day that her daughter Chelsea was missing, comedian Rosie O’Donnell said Tuesday evening that the teenager had been found.

“[C]helsea has been found and is safe in police custody - thank u all for the help and light #missingchildren,” Ms. O’Donnell posted on her certified Twitter account.

The 17-year-old girl had not been seen since the previous Tuesday, when she left the family’s home north of New York City with her therapy dog.
