A Secret Service supervisor has been placed on administrative leave and his badge and gun have been taken away following a claim that he assaulted a female employee last week, Fox News reported.

The supervisor placed on leave has been identified in news reports as Xavier Morales, 48, a manager in the agency’s security clearance division.

Mr. Morales is facing accusations that he made unwanted advances toward the employee on March 31 following a party at a Washington restaurant to celebrate Mr. Morales’ assignment to lead the Secret Service field office in Louisville.

The Metropolitan Police Department’s sex crimes unit and the Department of Homeland Security’s Inspector General are investigating the incident.
