BELGRADE, Serbia (AP) — A government plane carrying the Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic for an official visit to the Vatican has returned to Belgrade because of an engine failure, and the visit has been canceled.

Nikolic’s press office said Friday that one of the engines on the government Falcon plane suffered “technical problems” during the flight and had to return.
