That Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found guilty on all 30 counts was a foregone conclusion, about as much of a surprise as a harsh northeastern winter (“Dzhokhar Tsarnaev guilty on all 30 counts in marathon bombing, faces death penalty,” Web, April 8).

My only regret is that we have such a humane death penalty system, as Tsarnaev will almost certainly be given the death penalty for his brutal, cruel and vicious actions, which killed four people and injured over 250 others, many of who lost legs and arms. The bombing forever changed their lives and the lives of the families of those killed.

If I had my way I would give him a slow, painful death, with each surviving victim being given a go at him. This might give him a chance to reflect on what he did.
