The international Human Right Watch reported Wednesday that Islamic State terrorists conducted a mass execution on hundreds of Iraqi troops who were captured at a military base just outside Baghdad.
The troops were captured in June at Camp Speicher, near Tikrit, The Associated Press reported.
Human Rights Watch, based in New York, said between 560 and 770 of the men were killed. Previously, the rights group reported that only 160-to-190 of the men were executed, AP reported.
Islamic State terrorists claimed a couple months ago they actually put to death 1,700 military officials associated with Camp Speicher.
