Duck Dynasty’s patriarch Phil Robertson didn’t pull any punches in his assessment of what the United States should do about Islamic State terrorists: Convert them or kill them.

Mr. Robertson made the remarks during a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity, after the host asked how he’d fight the growing terror threat.

“In this case,” Mr. Robertson said, speaking of the Islamic State, “you either have to convert them, which I think would be next to impossible. I’m not giving up on them, but I’m just saying either convert them or kill them. One or the other.”

Mr. Robertson also said that Islamic State terrorists “can’t blame us,” since American withdrew from Iraq, The Blaze reported.

“I’d rather have a Bible study with all of them and show them the error of their ways and point them to Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of having your sins removed and being raised from the dead,” Mr. Robertson said, The Blaze reported. “I would rater preach the gospel of Jesus to them, however, if it’s a gun fight and a gun fight alone — if that’s what they’re looking for — me personally, I’m prepared for either one.”
