Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s key adviser and family friend, made an appearance Sunday on the CBS show “The Good Wife.”
Ms. Jarrett played herself in the cameo, attempting to convincing the character Alicia Florrick, played by Julianna Marguilies, to seek the state’s attorney position.
Ms. Florrick’s line: I don’t want to run, “because I hate politics.”
Ms. Jarrett chimes in: “I do too, Alicia. The last person I’d vote for is someone who likes politics. We have enough politicians. We need leaders who actually understand what it means to be a public servant.”
