President Obama on Monday afternoon spoke at a closed-door Democratic party fundraiser at the Capital Hilton hotel in downtown Washington.

About 25 supporters attended the event, each contributing up to $32,400, according to Democratic National Committee officials.

The fundraiser marks at least the 20th time this year the president has headlined a closed-press Democratic party event, according to the Sunlight Foundation.
