Joe Scarborough, host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” ranted Monday that any FBI agents who call the beheading of a woman at a Moore, Oklahoma, plant an act of workplace violence are disingenuous and treating the American public like idiots.
“How stupid does the FBI really think we are, and who exactly are they afraid of offending? ISIS? Moderate Muslims? Because moderate Muslims are just as scared as moderate Methodists,” Mr. Scarborough said during a segment on the program.
Alton Nolen is suspected of beheading a woman and stabbing another Friday at a food processing plant from which he was recently fired.
“And is political correctness now so pervasive throughout our government that the FBI can’t tell Americans the truth about the beheading of a grandmother in the middle of America out of the fear of offending Muslims? No. Trust me, Muslims are offended by this creep’s actions,” Mr. Scarborough said. “But if the FBI now is so weakly resorting to political correctness after a beheading on U.S. soil, can they really confront the evil that America faces and the threat of copycat killers? … It’s insulting.”
