MARLBORO, Vt. (AP) - State Police are investigating a case of vandalism at the Southern Vermont Natural History Museum.

Police say someone entered the museum in Marlboro sometime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday and damaged a large wall mural. The 8-by-3-foot mural, which depicts a forest scene, was repeatedly cut with a sharp instrument.

Anyone with information about the incident or who had visited the museum on Saturday is asked to call the Brattleboro barracks or the State Police tip line at (802) 241-5355.
