Washington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams injured his right knee early in the fourth quarter Thursday against the New York Giants. He did not return.
Following Kirk Cousins’ third interception of the night, Williams had a hard time getting off the field. At first, he tried to hop on one leg to leave the field. Trainers came out and stopped Williams, who was doubled over in pain and rubbing his right leg.
He was helped to the sideline as he limped and spent several minutes on the trainer’s table.
The Redskins announced Williams strained his right knee and his return was questionable, before later ruling him out.
