MADISON, Wis. (AP) - The Wisconsin Historical Museum has opened a new exhibit on American Indian powwows.

The exhibit features historic and modern photographs, video elements and artifacts related to powwows, American Indian celebrations that feature singing, dancing, feasts and praying.

The exhibit is set to run through Nov. 15.

The museum is located across the street from the state Capitol in Madison.
