ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo Bills wide receiver Andre Reed received his Hall of Fame Ring of Excellence in a halftime ceremony at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday.
Pro Football Hall of Fame president David Baker presented Reed with his ring in front of fellow Bills Hall of Famers Joe DeLamielleure, Thurman Thomas, Bruce Smith and Jim Kelly.
“This ring puts the icing on the cake of an amazing journey, and I share this with everyone in the stadium,” Reed said. “I love you, Buffalo.”
Reed’s 13,198 yards receiving ranked fourth when he retired following the 2000 season, and the Bills receiver was known for playing in the slot of Kelly’s “K-Gun” offense.
