Pennsylvania State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens sent out a blunt warning to the suspect — or suspects — who ambushed two of his troopers and killed one of them a few days ago: “We will find you,” he said.

The shooting outside the troopers’ barracks in Blooming Grove left one officer dead and another seriously wounded. Law enforcement officials have upped the ante to find the suspect — who’s been on the run since Friday — and put out a $75,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, Lt. Col. Bivens said, CNN reported.

Authorities are also keeping from the public certain details about the shooting that only the killer would know, in order to squelch certain evidence and hide how much they’ve learned from the investigation.

“Only the coward that committed this act knows that information and we will use that to find him or her,” Lt. Col. Bivens said, CNN reported.

The FBI is helping with the investigation, as well as police from New York, New Jersey and other spots in the Northeast.

Meanwhile, Trooper Alex Douglass has regained consciousness and is able to speak, CNN reported. Authorities are planning to interview him soon.

“First and foremost is our concern for his health and recovery,” Lt. Col. Bivens said, CNN reported. “So we’re letting the doctors do what they need to do and at an appropriate time that will occur. We expect that to happen in the very near future.”

The shooting in a rural wooded area killed Cpl. Bryon Dickson.

“We are determined,” Lt. Col. Bivens said, CNN reported. “We’ve all been through any number of complex investigations. They take time. I know we’ve assembled the A team here. They will absolutely work through this investigation, and I’m confident we’ll make an arrest.”
