Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson landed on his left shoulder with 6:46 remaining in the first quarter — just minutes after quarterback Robert Griffin III was injured and carted off the field — knocking him out of the game.
Coach Jay Gruden said afterward that Jackson suffered a sprained AC joint in his shoulder.
Jackson, who was targeted twice for deep throws early in the game and caught one pass for 19 yards, left the field holding his left arm tight to his body. He went to the locker room.
Jackson was ruled out for the remainder of the game.
