The race for Florida governor remains a toss up as voters grapple with which candidate they dislike least, said a new poll released Wednesday.

The Survey USA poll showed Democrat Charlie Crist with a 2-point lead over incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Scott, but both candidates are losing the favorability race.

Mr. Crist, a former Republican governor who turned Democrat, had a net favorability of minus 8. Mr. Scott scored a net favorability of minus 10, according to the poll, which was conducted for WFLA-TV in Tampa.

The same poll last week ago showed Mr. Crist up 6 points over Mr. Scott.

The two men have traded places with thin leads in the polls in recent months, but neither has ever garnered more than 50 percent support.

In the new poll, libertarian Adrian Wyllie drew 6 percent support.
