Rep. Jack Kingston and Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert rolled up their pant legs, donned striped straw hats, grabbed fishing poles and dangled their feet into the waters of the Capitol Reflecting Pool.
The two made a video clip of the venture for “The Colbert Report,” as dozens of passersby looked on, the Daily Mail reported.
Mr. Kingston, lawmaker for Georgia, just lost a Senate bid for exiting Saxby Chambliss’ seat to David Perdue.
