JACKSON, Wyo. (AP) - Some business leaders and owners in the Wyoming tourist area of Jackson Hole report increased visitors this past summer.

Rick Howe of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce says the summer season seemed to start out much earlier and seemed consistently better this year.

Howe tells the Jackson Hole News & Guide (https://bit.ly/ZCy5um ) that the winter season is looking strong as well.

Christian Dusa of Moo’s Gourmet Ice Cream in Jackson and Barbara Barker of Barker-Ewing Whitewater both report seeing more customers this summer.

Brad Richardson of Legacy Gallery in downtown Jackson says he also saw more people but that didn’t necessarily translate into more sales for all businesses.

Altitude clothing store owner Jean Schwartz says sales were a little off while summer traffic was about the same.
