Former heavyweight hitter Mike Tyson told an Opie Radio interviewer that he was sexually abused by a mystery man on the street when he was 7 years old.

“[the man] bullied me, sexually abused me and stuff … snatched me off the street,” Mr. Tyson said, TMZ.com reported. “I was a little kid. Never seen him again.”

Mr. Tyson, who’s 48 now, said he didn’t know who the man was, but simply ran from him and never saw him again.

One of the hosts asked if the abuse dramatically changed him — and Mr. Tyson said he didn’t know, Bleacher Report said. He said he never went to the police and sometimes forgets that it even occurred.

The boxer has had a somewhat turbulent life, battling at one point substance abuse and facing arrests for various outside-the-ring trouble.
