First lady Michelle Obama has loaned out her voice to the Democratic Party in the state of California, cutting an audio to send out last-minute recorded calls to drum up votes for Rep. Mike Honda’s re-election.

Her robo-call mantra goes like this, The Hill reported: “Hi, this is Michelle Obama, and I’m calling because Barack and I are counting on you to support Mike Honda and the Democratic ticket this Nov. 4. Your vote for Mike Honda will make a real difference in supporting our president.”

Mr. Honda, a seven-term legislator, is facing a tight race against fellow Democrat and former Commerce Department official Ro Khanna, and it’s shaping to be one of the most expensive campaigns in House history, The Hill reported.
