CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A group of Roman Catholic nuns on a multistate bus tour is stopping in West Virginia.

The nuns are reprising their 2012 nationwide bus tour to urge people to vote. They’re also showing how proposed federal budget cuts would decimate programs for low-income families.

The tour is organized by Network, a Washington-based Catholic social justice group.

Sister Simone Campbell, Network’s executive director, is scheduled to hold a news conference at the YWCA Sojourner’s Shelter in Charleston on Friday.
