Hillary Rodham Clinton is going to bat once more before Election Day for Iowa Rep. Bruce Braley, who is locked in a tight Senate race with Joni Ernst.
Mrs. Clinton, a likely 2016 presidential contender, will make campaign stops with Mr. Braley on Wednesday in Cedar Rapids and Davenport.
The Real Clear Politics average of polls shows that Mr. Braley is trailing Mrs. Ernst by 2.2 percentage points in their race to replace retiring Sen. Tom Harkin, a Democrat.
The University of Virginia’s Center for Politics says the race “Leans R” and the Cook Political Report rates it as a “toss up.”
