President Obama is due to unveil his latest executive order Monday afternoon, aimed at bringing back the manufacturing segment to America’s economy.

The order is based on recommendations from President Obama’s Advanced Manufacturing Partnership, The Hill reported.

“The executive actions announced today align with the report’s recommendations by making investments in emerging, cross-cutting manufacturing technologies, training our workforce with the skills for middle-class jobs in manufacturing, and equipping small manufactures to adopt cutting-edge technologies,” the White House said in a statement.

Mr. Obama is expected to announce more than $300 million for Defense, Energy and Agriculture — as well as NASA — to invest in advanced materials, advanced seniors and digital manufacturing, The Hill reported.

The Department of Labor and the Department of Commerce are also expected to invest heavily in the initiative, The Hill reported.
