A 5-year-old boy returning from Ebola-stricken West Africa was hospitalized in New York City after presenting symptoms of the virus.

The New York Post reports the child had been vomiting and registered a 103-degree fever, prompting a response from emergency responders in protective suits.

“He looked weak,” a neighbor told the Post.

The boy and his family got back from Guinea on Saturday and had been quarantined in their apartment, according to the newspaper.
