Jeb Bush’s son, George P. Bush, said his father will “more than likely” seek the Republican nomination for a 2016 presidential run.

“I think it’s actually, I think it’s more than likely that [Jeb Bush is] giving this a serious thought in moving forward,” George P. Bush told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl aboard his campaign bus in College Station, Texas. The younger Mr. Bush is running for land commissioner in Texas.

“More than likely that he’ll run?” Mr. Karl asked.

“That he’ll run,” Mr. Bush said. “If you had asked me a few years back, I would’ve said it was less likely.”

Mr. Bush said his family will support his father, the former governor of Florida, “a hundred percent” should he decide to launch a bid for the White House, ABC News reported.
