Police report that seven individuals were injured after a car plowed into a restaurant at a San Francisco Bay area shopping mall.

The driver, a 56-year-old female, was trying to navigate into a parking spot near the Taqueria Los Pericos in Dublin when she mistakenly hit the accelerator pedal instead of the break, Lt. Nate Schmidt said, The Associated Press reported.

Her car shot through the store windows, injuring six. The driver, unnamed in the report, was also hurt. Two of those in the store were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, AP said.

Alcohol is not a factor, police said.

Dublin is about 25 miles east of Oakland.
