Meghan McCain took to SiriusXM airwaves with Howard Stern on Wednesday to say yes, it’s true — her dad, Sen. John McCain, has little love for Sen. Rand Paul.

In short, she said, The Hill reported: “They hate each other.”

Mr. Stern followed up that assessment by saying, that “in a fistfight, I’m pretty sure your dad can kick [Paul’s] [expletive],” The Hill reported.

And the 29-year-old’s response?

“Yeah,” she said. “My father’s 76 years old and he can still throw down.”

One mistake: Mr. McCain is actually 78, having been born in 1936, The Hill said.

The tension between the two senators is already somewhat aired. When asked in a previous interview if he would support Mr. Paul or former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for president, Mr. McCain said: “It’s going to be a tough choice.”

Mr. Paul’s office didn’t respond to Ms. McCain’s comments, The Hill reported.
