As Ann Romney prepares to launch a center for neurological diseases in Boston, she put in her own not-terribly-enthusiastic two cents on a possible third presidential run for her husband, 2012 GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

“Done,” she told the L.A. Times. “Completely. Not only Mitt and I are done, but the kids are done…Done. Done. Done.”

Mr. Romney, who has emerged as a popular figure on the stump and the fundraising circuit in support of GOP candidates in the midterm elections, has also said he’s not running again in 2016.

Asked if she could envision circumstances under which she would encourage or support another run, Mrs. Romney said she hasn’t been “pushed to that point mentally” — but that they would make a decision together.

Mrs. Romney, who has multiple sclerosis, said she hopes to raise $50 million to help lay the groundwork for research into finding cures and treatments for Alzheimer’s, MS, ALS, Parkinson’s disease, and brain tumors.
