Wizard guard Bradley Beal will need surgery on his fractured wrist, the Wizards confirmed Saturday.
An MRI exam showed that Beal has a “non-displaced fracture of the scaphoid bone in his left (non-shooting) wrist that will require surgery,” the Wizards said in a statement.
Beal was injured on Oct. 10 during the first quarter of the game against the Charlotte Hornets in Greenville, South Carolina, the statement said.
The Wizards said a timeline for his recovery will be announced after the surgery.
