President Obama is more popular than ever — at least with Gwyneth Paltrow.

“You’re so handsome that I can’t speak properly,” the Oscar-winning actress gushed before handing the mic to Mr. Obama at a Democratic fundraiser Thursday night at her Los Angeles home, according to a White House pool report.

During her remarks, she introduced herself to the commander-in-chief. “I am one of your biggest fans, if not the biggest,” Ms. Paltrow said.

“It would be wonderful if we were able to give this man all of the power that he needs to pass the things that he needs to pass,” she told the crowd, which included Julia Roberts and Bradley Whitford.

Ms. Paltrow citing sustainable energy efforts and Mr. Obama’s push for equal pay as some of the measures the president needed more power to pass. On equal pay, she said that cause was “very important to me as a working mother.”
