Former President Bill Clinton and former GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney will both head to Massachusetts next week to aid their parties’ gubernatorial candidates.

Mr. Clinton will campaign with Democratic candidate Martha Coakley in Worcester next Thursday before headlining a Democratic Party dinner in Manchester, the Boston Globe reported.

Mr. Romney, a former Massachusetts governor, will cohost a fundraiser for Republican Charlie Baker in Boston with former advertising executive Jack Connors.

However, Mr. Romney, who is considering a third presidential run in 2016, will not appear publicly with Mr. Baker.

“Charlie is humbled by the bipartisan support he has received throughout this campaign, and the upcoming event co-hosted by Governor Romney and lifelong Democrat Jack Connors is a clear sign Charlie’s positive vision to create jobs is appealing to Democrats and Republicans alike,” Tim Buckley, a spokesman for Mr. Baker, told the Boston Globe.

On Wednesday Mr. Romney will host another Boston fundraiser with state House minority leader Bradley H. Jones to raise money for Republican candidates for the state House.

Former Secretary of State and likely Democratic nominee Hillary Rodham Clinton is also set to campaign for Ms. Coakley ahead of the election, but specific dates and details of those events have not been set.
