Barely were the votes tallied in Tuesday’s Democratic disaster, and Hollywood’s hottest and wealthiest had already moved into fundraising mode for their presumed pick for 2016, former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Jeffrey Katzenberg, one of Tinseltown’s biggest producers, launched a telephone spree to procure dollar pledges for Priorities USA Action, the super PAC that’s expected to take on advertising duties for an eventual Clinton bid, The Washington Post reported.

Mr. Katzenberg said he and political adviser Andy Spahn are preparing to travel around the country and solicit more donors in person.

“We will [be] reaching out in the weeks ahead to set up one-on-ones and meet-and-greets to talk about the urgency of the task ahead,” Mr. Spahn told The Post.

Joining the fundraising effort will be former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, executive director Buffy Wicks and senior advisers Sean Sweeney and Paul Begala, The Post reported.

The super PAC isn’t collecting the money now; rather, it’s only trying to secure commitments to donate. If and when Mrs. Clinton announces her bid, the PAC will then move to collect on the promises, The Post reported.
